Key Responsibilities

Serve as a liaison between key IT/business stakeholders and the central cybersecurity organization, primarily interacting with the global CSIRT and Compliance teams.
Provides expertise and consultation to business segment IR strategies, builds alignment with overall Dell incident response, driving response capability to become a differentiator in our value prop
Serve as a technical security leader, advising stakeholders on security architectures, compliance initiatives and aligning cybersecurity strategy to business risk appetite.
Engage with business partners, customers and other external stakeholders, inspiring confidence in Dell’s overall security posture and brand, through industry and customer presentations.
Mentor and provide leadership and day to day management support to two or more professionals leading vulnerability remediation and incident response program management activities.
Work with business stakeholders to ensure High Value Assets (HVAs) are identified, tracked, and prioritized in the application of cybersecurity programs and activities.
Own and drive the implementation and maturation of security controls against an industry recognized security framework and standards such as NIST CSF, NIST 800-53, and ISO 2700x
Mature and campaign the security governance program to help ensure business segment product, service, and solution offers build cybersecurity in from initial offering design.
Orchestrate the provisioning of central cybersecurity and resiliency services to support business partners and segments.
Develop organic capabilities to address those needs that are unable to be met by Dell global cybersecurity service delivery centers, creating and presenting business case proposals for investment.
Works with the Cybersecurity Program Office to identify useful data for collection, and track / report on cybersecurity metrics.
Deliver metrics driven scorecards or dashboards to keep executive leadership apprised of business cybersecurity health.
Partner closely with Dell Digital IT to help drive a best of breed security strategy and improve the overall security posture
Requirements

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management of Information Systems, or a related field
Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Assurance, Business, or related field preferred
ISACA CRISC or CISM, (ISC)² CISSP or CISSP-ISSMP certifications preferred.
Skills

Professional experience as a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), Business Information Security Officer (BISO), Information Assurance Officer, or related preferred
Broad and diverse experience across cybersecurity strategy, operations, security architecture, vulnerability management, and cloud security preferred
Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment with competing and shifting priorities
Ability to drive highly complex, cross-organizational initiatives through the influencing of and negotiation with stakeholders who at times may hold competing equities
Ability to engage executive level stakeholders on complex matters with limited oversight and guidance
Ability to confidently and effectively present complex technical topics to senior non-technical audiences
Ability to work collaboratively and effectively as part of a larger matrixed organization
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated technical proficiency in applying cybersecurity controls
