Head of Practice- Detection and Response

We are Adarma, one of the largest independent security services companies in the UK. As a business formed and run by former senior security leaders, we know our stuff. Which is why our clients include 30% of FTSE 100 organisations from all industry sectors.

We’re the largest Threat Management specialist consultancy in the UK and offer unique services based on cutting edge technology to keep our clients safe. This Head of Practice will lead the Detection and Response service line, with a resource pool of over 100 security engineers and consultants. You’ll lead on client activity and mentor tech delivery teams to ensure we meet and exceed customer expectations. Detection and Response covers a range of areas, including cyber threat hunting, cyber & physical defence monitoring, DLP and SIEM among others so the Head of Practice will have knowledge of these areas and, as we are a partner of the year for Splunk, they will have (or develop) real knowledge of this product and it’s functionalities.

Coming from a Threat background, the Head of Practice for Detection and Response will ensure the business unit meets commercial objectives, partnering with sales and a range of internal business functions to continue the development of the practice. This makes this an excellent opportunity for a cyber professional with proven leadership experience to work in a well-supported but challenging role in a growing, cyber-focused consultancy.

Requirements
Proven knowledge of the cyber security sector with proven experience of delivering technical solutions to meet and business objectives.
Comfort in working within a client-facing role, having worked with senior stakeholders from across businesses.
Technical experience and/or knowledge of our key areas from within our Detection and Response practice
Leadership skills and experience of delivering on complex projects and pieces of work.
Ideally (although not essential), you’ll have knowledge and experience with Splunk.
